“I Paid Once” – Man Calls Out Portable, Reveals How Much He Paid for Promotion
A man has called out Nigerian street-pop singer Portable, alleging that he paid the musician ₦1.5 million for promotion but never received the service.
The man made the allegation while speaking during Carter Efe’s Twitch livestream, where he shared details of his alleged experience with the singer.
According to him, the payment was made in November 2025 after he got Portable’s contact information online. He claimed that despite paying the agreed amount, Portable has yet to carry out the promotion.
The man, who is from Delta State, insisted that he has evidence to support his claim and said he is seeking justice over the matter.
Recounting how he came in contact with Portable, he explained that they were not friends before their conversation began online. He said he obtained the singer’s phone number from his social media page and later travelled to meet him in person.
He also claimed that he gave money to some of Portable’s associates in Sango during the process.
According to the man, he even drove to meet the singer in his Toyota Camry as he tried to resolve the issue.
“I paid once,” he reportedly said while explaining his side of the story and insisting that he has proof of the alleged payment.
The allegations have since sparked reactions online, with some people calling for both parties to clarify what happened and provide evidence concerning the alleged ₦1.5 million promotion deal.
